Is Nosferatu the one who's missing? Is that his shade? If so - do the vampires have shade? And if it's not a vampire then what's the deal?
Sorry for so many questions, but although it's nicely done I feel so confused, and I really miss some explanation from you. I really really do

Just kidding. My interpretation of this piece is that whatever the man casting the shadow is holding (a bag perhaps?) IS what is missing.
I do enjoy the style and the monochromatic palette. My only critique would be that the figures in the background look more-or-less realistic, but the shadow has a much more cartoonish feel.
Nice work though. Keep it up!

Byonder, I bet it's a huge insect casting that shadow.
Franck, I watched your website, it is really something! Good job, I had fun browsing it.
edit: Aha, now I see it's a running man with a bag!

beautiful linework and style. No description makes me wonder and wonder and watch and watch, but I'd really like a description too.
Thanks for posting more.

The things missing are obviously the arms on the clock above.
The person is casting a very sharp shadow and it would seem, judging from the viewpoint, that he is stumbling over the artist himself.
Beyonder: my guess is that part of the shadow is his billowing coat.

I watched the stop-frame short film on your site Franck, really great work! I didn't understand it entirely, but it was still enjoyable. Perhaps at a future date you could offer the film with English subtitles?
Keep up the good work!
